What to have ready
None of this is required to start a conversation, but having it to hand materially speeds up a quote:
- Legal entity name and the state it is registered in
- A plain description of what the business actually does day to day
- Annual revenue, annual payroll, and employee count
- Number and type of vehicles, if any
- Any claims or losses in the last five years
- The limits a contract, landlord, or client is requiring of you
